Cheruku Srikanth
Transforming Financial Management Through Innovation
Finance professional with over two decades of experience spanning bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, internal controls, business processes, and financial intelligence, he has dedicated his career to reimagining how businesses handle their bookkeeping, accounting and financial management through technology and empathy.
His journey began with a fascination for how numbers narrate business stories — of growth, challenges, and transformation. His early years at a Big 4 and subsequent audit assignments across industries taught him the essence of financial discipline and how structured processes build trust and sustainability. After gaining significant exposure at leading audit firms in Bengaluru, he founded his own accounting services firm, helping businesses achieve both compliance and clarity. This phase deepened his empathy for entrepreneurs — those who constantly balance precision with pressure.
In 2006, he co-founded a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm delivering financial and legal services to clients in India and the US, focusing on scalable accounting systems and controls. Yet, one recurring question persisted: “Why do businesses continue to face delays, rework, and errors in accounting, regardless of the software they use?” That pursuit led to his most defining venture — Digital CFO®, a cloud-native financial-management platform designed to simplify, automate, and humanize accounting. Built ground-up in India, it integrates compliance, analytics, and real-time decision support, enabling enterprises to transform their finance function from reactive to intelligent. Srikanth conceived and built the functional architecture of Digital CFO which is one of India’s fast growing cloud native, AI powered bookkeeping, accounting and financial management software, with even two of global Big 4 firms as customers.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Srikanth actively contribute to industry and academia through platforms such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), driving collaboration between institutions, technology, and business leadership to build future-ready talent.
